Description
If you or a friend are keenly interested in learning to fly a glider, this extended course is a great way to give you a real taste of training to fly solo! Included is a ground briefing session, and flights with an instructor who can teach you the basics of how to fly a glider. Then a debrief to discuss what you have experienced and next steps, and maybe a simulator session to consolidate if time allows! Allow a full half day for this course.

What your Course includes
- Joining a briefing with other pilots
- A full briefing to familiarise you with the aircraft and your pilot
- Flying in modern high-performance two seat gliders
- Three aerotows to 3000 feet and/or equivalent winch launches, or extended soaring flights if conditions allow, maybe sharing an instructor with one other pupil.
- A logbook to record your flights
- An end of session debrief, and discussion of progress and your next steps.
- 3 Months membership of Cambridge Gliding Centre included, so you can come back and do more flying if you like!
