Gliding provides an accessible route into flight training, and at Cambridge Gliding Centre, we welcome newcomers of all ages who are curious about aviation, wanting to learn new skills, or just looking for a unique and fun hobby.
The winter season is a great time to get started, as the lack of thermals will allow you to focus on your launches and landings while having quality instructor time.
We have member of all ages and at different stages of their flight training. You may wish to just join us to enjoy occasional weekend flights, or to progress toward cross-country soaring and further advanced badges.
We also have a very active social calendar you can look forward too – the Cloud Rally being a highlight.
