We offer a range of membership options including full flying, young person, young adult, temporary. Current rates are shown below. For full details of each membership and how to join, see our membership page.
Membership at a glance

Family membership: your spouse pays no membership fee until they fly solo
Take Full Membership and your spouse pays no membership subscription until the renewal date after they go solo (they just enrol separately). They still pay the normal flying charges for aircraft time. Children of a Full Member join without a membership fee too. After solo, spouse membership continues at a reduced annual rate.
Reciprocal & Day Membership
Daily membership charges for short-term members and visitors from other BGA gliding clubs
One Day – £25 – (plus a facility fee for visitors with own glider of £10 per day)
Two Days – £50 – (plus a facility fee for visitors with own glider of £10 per day)
£20.00 per day for three days or more up to one week – (plus a facility fee for visitors with own glider of £10 per day)
(Check with the office for what arrangements and fees apply to your specific club).
Note: If you join within one week of paying for a temporary membership, the cost of daily membership will be deducted from your full membership fee.

Other Fees
Aerotow retrieves
£1.97 per km distance from Gransden Lodge Clubhouse. Minimum charge: £25.00.
